Prayers and Praises.

Dear Lord,

You are:

My rock when the rest of my world crumbles

My fortress to shield me

My deliverer to our Father, My God

My strength when I am weak

My confidant in whom I can share all 

My buckler that will fight for my honor

My salvation in whom my eternity is secure

My high tower and place of refuge

Psalm 18:2 KJV

The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower

Over and over God has reassured us that he will not leave us nor forsake us.   Generations of us: from Adam and Eve; to you and I.  And yet.....

I know this; yet I still have fears. 

I know this; yet I still worry. 

I know this; yet I still feel alone. 

I know this; which is why I continually pray! 

Dear Lord, I am ever so thankful for your compassion and your patience.   As I face each new day’s battles, I will look to you for your guidance and lay my worries at your feet.  I humbly pray that you will replace all my feelings of fear and inadequacy with your courage and strength.    I will trust in your plan for my life and will lean on your Word whenever I feel alone.   May your peace wash over me and all whom I love.  In your name I pray.  Amen. 🙏❤️🙏

Dear Lord, 

I pray you grant me the wisdom that comes from heaven. 

It is first of all pure and full of quiet gentleness. 

Then it is peace-loving and courteous. 

It allows discussion and is willing to yield to others; 

It is full of mercy and good deeds. 

It is wholehearted and straightforward and sincere. 

And those who are peacemakers will plant seeds of peace and reap a harvest of goodness.

Dear Lord, I know true freedom is found through faith; For freedom is open to all who believe him (Galatians 3:22).  It is through your Grace that we are able to break free of sin’s grip on us.  Help me to soar freely today, trusting upon Your trade winds to lift me higher and carry me further than ever before.
